The department offers both the Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSc Accounting) and the Diploma in Financial Accounting, designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding required in today’s dynamic financial environment.

The BSc Accounting is a comprehensive four-year degree programme that provides an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. It explores how individuals, businesses, and organizations manage financial resources and comply with regulatory frameworks, while also examining the impact of global financial trends on economic development. The programme combines theoretical foundations with practical application through case studies, accounting software, and real-world scenarios, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for professional roles in accounting, auditing, and finance.

In addition, the Diploma in Financial Accounting offers students fundamental knowledge and practical competencies in accounting and financial practices.
